Choosing an obstetrician
We understand that it can be a very overwhelming time when you find out you are pregnant. There are many things to consider, and one of the most important is choosing the right obstetrician.

A comprehensive education program
To assist you and your family in preparing for the birth of your new baby, Hangzhou Aima offers a comprehensive education program. The program includes information about preparing for labor, birth; breast feeding, preparing for home, twin births and parenting skills. There are information sessions for expectant fathers and grandparents.

For mothers experiencing difficulties with breast-feeding, the hospital has a Day Breast Feeding Clinic, managed by qualified lactation consultants.

Breast feeding
At Hangzhou Aima Maternity we have a Day Breast Feeding Centre. This Centre is available for breast-feeding mothers to come and receive advice and helps from the hospital's internationally qualified Lactation Consultants and can be a great support for many new mums.

Discharge Information
If you have a vaginal delivery you will be discharged on Day 5, or an uncomplicated elective caesarean section, you will be discharged on Day 6.

If you have an emergency or complicated caesarean section delivery, you will be discharged on Day 7.
